Michael joined Symvan in 2015 to support the investment management team across the business, having previously had his interest piqued in the growth technology space after working with an education technology startup. Today, he works closely with the investment directors and takes responsibility for bringing potential investee companies through due diligence, as well as being involved in the ongoing support offered to those which become part of Symvan's portfolio. Since joining the Symvan team Michael has built his knowledge and accreditation within the industry, becoming a Diploma Affiliate of the EIS Association and an Associate Member of the CISI. He initially read English at UCL before training as a barrister, and was called to the Bar in 2014. Although he has taken his career on a different path, he remains a member of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.
