TIKOS® selected for UK’s Laboratory for AI Security Research (LASR) AI Security Programme

We are proud to announce, portfolio company TIKOS® and their recent participation in LASR’s AI Supply Chain Security programme.
The Laboratory for AI Security Research (LASR) is a collaboration between the public and private sectors in the UK to bring together the best minds in AI security. LASR is dedicated to mitigating security risks to and from artificial intelligence (AI) to strengthen national security and support economic growth.
TIKOS® has been selected to work on AI model integrity, applying their patent-pending technology in high-stakes environments.
Ensuring that AI models remain trustworthy in Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environments is a complex challenge and a very important one. Unlike traditional software, AI models can degrade, drift, or be subjected to human-driven attack vectors, such as backdoored models, malicious dependencies, or insider tampering.
To combat this TIKOS® will develop and demonstrate solutions to continuously validate model behaviour, detect integrity violations, and enforce runtime security policies tailored to agentic workflows.

Mike Oaten, Co-Founder and CEO of TIKOS® explained:
“Dr. Don Liyanage and I are tackling a pressing and highly technical problem: prove that complex AI can be trusted in the most challenging environments. We are thrilled to be a part of this LASR programme, which is supported by Cisco and HMG, where we can further develop and demonstrate our capabilities.”
Peyman Mestchian, Chair of the AI Markets Group (AIMG) and Non-Executive Director at TIKOS®, added:
“The next phase of AI adoption will depend less on model capability and more on trust. Securing the AI supply chain – from model provenance to lifecycle monitoring – is becoming fundamental to deploying AI safely across critical infrastructure and high-stakes environments.”
