Adviser Webinar Series: Latest Economic Update from The Bank of England

Much of the risk around investing in venture capital concerns individual stock picking and fund management decisions. Yet any competent fund manager must understand decisions within a macroeconomic framework. For instance, many managers underestimated the impact of inflation and the subsequent sharp rise in interest rates in 2022.

At Symvan Capital, we are keen to ensure that our financial adviser community not only has a broad understanding of the tax-efficient investment market but also the wider economy as a whole.

We are, therefore, pleased to bring back alongside our regular webinars, our series, “Latest Economic Update from The Bank of England” and the first such webinar of the year is on Thursday, 9th February at 12pm.

During these 30-minute "off the record" presentation and Q&A sessions, we shall be hearing from Paul Mount (Deputy Agent, The Bank of England). The Bank’s agencies are their eyes and ears across the UK, and Paul should provide some interesting insights to regional economic trends as well as the Bank's current macroeconomic thinking, including topics such as inflation, unemployment, labour market trends, and GDP projections.

This webinar is restricted to wealth managers and financial advisers. Click here to register.
